“SUAVE YET VIGOROUS”
Summary: The Corsair takes its name from European privateers who were tasked by their respective kingdoms to engage in maritime warfare. It is equipped with a balanced bezel, two sub-dials which reflect the day and month and a watch band made of snuffed genuine leather to allow for unobstructed agility and accuracy. Designed for the suave yet vigorous, the Corsair makes a fine accompaniment to a stroll into the wild beyond.
About Walnut Wood: The history of the use Walnut wood has its roots in pre-modern warfare. It was the wood of choice of gun manufacturers during the early 20th century due to its hardness, durability, and ability to be extremely finely polished. During WW1, both the allied and axis sides used Walnut wood in the manufacture of rifle stocks, particularly the Lee-Enfield of the British Empire and the Gewehr 98 of the German Empire.
